Three things I learned from an NCE meeting

I am attending my first NCE meeting today at Ottawa. NCE is for Networks of Centres of Excellence of Canada -- so many of's. :)

I learned three things, which I should keep in mind when I write big project proposals in the future.

1.  Everyone talks something big, if not huge.

2.  Impact, impact, impact -- how can a project change people's life?

3.  Networking, networking, networking -- "We, from k provinces and from coast to coast, collaborate!"
